Barnsley & District Animal Welfare (BADAW)
REGISTERED CHARITY NO. 1128029

BADAW is proud to be in partnership with Pets at Home and is Wilkinson charity of the year at the Wombwell store.
We rescue and re-home abandoned and unwanted dogs with the aim of finding them new, forever homes. We are based in South Yorkshire but cover parts of West Yorkshire as well. If you can't see just what you are looking for then please keep checking our website as we never know what we will be getting in next.
We do carry out home checks before re-homing any animal.

Members of the Songwriters Forum were invited to enter a competition organised by John Bonney to compose a song to highlight the plight of dogs needing new homes and to help raise money for Barnsley & District Animal Welfare. This "Pawprint Challenge" attracted interest from many talented artists and the resulting album is amazing. There is something on there for everyone to enjoy. It is free to download by clicking on the link below and you are invited to make a donation to BADAW if you wish. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who entered the competition and for their generousity in giving their time and talents to help our cause.

N.B. There is also a video of the 6th track on the album by Binladeda & Dutchbeat on You Tube. It's an early version but well worth viewing. Click on this link: Somebody help me
