Jax has come back into our care having been in his home for 10 months. He was adopted at the start of this year but due to a change in working hours for his family Jax is now being left for longer hours and is suffering from terrible separation anxiety. Sadly he is a very unhappy boy and yet again finds himself back in kennels and an unwanted dog. This boy is not only extremely beautiful he is very very loving and friendly. Originally he was a dog who was left waiting at a Yorkshire Stray pound after his elderly owner passed away and there was nobody to take him. Jax remained in stray kennels for some time and on one of our regular visits we fell in love. We adored him all those months ago and we still adore him now. He is good with other dogs and is a bigger boy. He has never lived in a home with other dogs or children. He walks fine on his lead and absolutely loves company and going on some outside adventures. Jax doesn’t travel well in a car and finds it quite stressful. Kennels are no place for older dogs and as the colder weather sets in we desperately appeal for some senior boys to have the warmth and comforts that only a home can bring.

THE HOME JAX NEEDS

Our stunning boy is looking for a home with lots of company and where he will not be left. We know this a a big ask however due to separation anxiety Jax can be destructive when stressed. Dogs that suffer from his often do so after a trauma of abandonment. The fear of being without humans and company is very distressing for them. This is understandable after all this amazing dog has been through in the last year. Jax is very loving and friendly with people and accepting of other dogs. We do feel due to him never living with children or other pets it is possibly the easiest to rehome him with what he has always been used to. We will not dismiss homes with other dogs but due to Jax being a big fella a home without small children is preferred. He is gorgeous and one very handsome and loving senior dog albeit very unhappy at present. He has had it tough for a while and we are hoping with the help of a new home and an understanding dedicated owner his forever pastures new and serious love match is out there.
