Easy Fund Raising

Members of BADAW give up their time free of charge so we can make full use of funds raised to help rescued animals. Although we try to keep our overheads to a minimum, it still costs us over £55 per week for each dog in kennels plus vet costs for every animal that we take into our care (health checks, vaccinations, microchipping, neutering etc). All the funds we raise are spent on providing for the animals, no deductions are made for ‘administration’.

How can I help?

You can help us in a number of ways:

1.By making a one-off donation via Paypal – just click on the “Donate button below.

Alternatively, you can send a cheque made payable to “BADAW” and send to:

177B Barugh Lane,
Barugh Green,
South Yorkshire,
S75 1LJ.

If you choose either of these methods, why not Gift Aid your donation at no extra cost to you? See below for details.

2. By making regular donations by standing order (monthly, quarterly or yearly). Just ask your bank to do this for you or you can usually do it yourself if you have internet banking. You can also use Gift Aid to increase your donations at no extra cost to you. See below for details.

3. If you are working, you can use Payroll Giving to Charity. This is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice. Any donation will be deducted from your wages before you are assessed for tax. A donation of £5 for example, costs you at standard rate of tax only £4.00 but with the government’s 10% top up, the charity receives £5.50. If you are on the 40% tax band, your donation will only cost you £3.00 but the charity receives £5.50. If you are interested in using Payroll Giving to Charity, your employer will be able to arrange this & provide you with details. Further information is available on the HMRC website.

4. By using Gift Aid to increase your donation at no extra cost to you. If you are a UK taxpayer, you can make your donation worth an extra 25%. The government’s Gift Aid scheme allows us to reclaim the income tax or capital gains tax you have already paid on your donations. To take advantage of Gift Aid, please download and print the form off the HMRC website (see the link below) or contact us at the address above and we’ll post one to you. Just return it to us completed and we’ll do the rest.
